Fan-favorite superstar steps behind the camera for Vixen Media Group. LOS ANGELES (July 20, 2026) – Vixen Media Group (VMG) just announced that Violet Myers is making her directorial debut. She's one of the most celebrated performers in the adult industry, and now she's calling the shots. The first scene she directed stars Raissa Bellini, Hollywood Cash, and Isiah Maxwell. It drops on July 20 on Blacked Raw and Vixen Plus, VMG's all-in-one premium streaming platform. More scenes she directed will come out through the rest of the summer. ### What It Means for Violet When asked how it feels to make her directorial debut with Blacked Raw, Myers didn't hold back. "To have my directorial debut is such a huge accomplishment in my career and to do it with Vixen makes it even better," she said. "This is a dream come true from starring to now directing. It can't get better than this." She's not wrong. Since her first scene with VMG back in 2021, Myers has become a massive force in the industry. She also stars in "Drift" and the new release "Equilibrium," both directed by Kayden Kross. ### Why She Made the Switch Myers says the decision to direct came from watching Gianna Dior, another performer who made the jump behind the camera. "I honestly didn't even know that a performer can direct such great scenes like that," Myers explained. "I have to give credit to Gianna for that." She added, "I've always directed my own scenes so I wanted to definitely do something different with a higher production." Now that she's on the other side of the lens, her perspective has shifted. "Being behind the camera has taught me so much more that goes into it than I really thought," she said. "I always gave credit to production and crew, but I have a whole other respect for what they do. It's a huge responsibility, bringing a fantasy to life." ### What She Brings to the Director's Chair Myers is using everything she learned as a performer to guide her cast. "My years as a performer taught me how to move for the camera so now that I'm behind it, I know what the audience is looking for," she said. She's helping Bellini, Cash, and Maxwell find that raw, spontaneous chemistry Blacked Raw is known for. "I can also help guide the performer give a better performance for the camera and teach them so that way they can be the best performer to their abilities," she added.
