Lovense Glint: The Couples Toy That Moves With You

Lovense's Glint is the first touch-responsive butt plug for couples, syncing vibration to each thrust instead of a remote. Here's how it works and why it matters.

Lovense just dropped something genuinely different, and it's worth a closer look. The company announced Glint, which it calls the world's first touch-responsive butt plug built for couples. Instead of taking its cues from a phone or a remote, Glint reads the couple's own movement and responds in real time. That's a small shift on paper and a big one in practice. ### What Glint Actually Does Glint is worn anally, with the base staying outside the body. A touch sensor in that base reads how much of it is covered, at what angle, and for how long. It then adjusts vibration across five intensity levels to match. A fingertip gets a light response. A palm, or a partner's thrust against the base during intercourse, gets a much stronger one. "For years, we've been thinking about one question," said Dan Liu, CEO of Lovense. "What should a toy for couples to use during sex look like, and what should it do?" He added that it also had to stand clearly apart from what's already on the market. ### Setup Takes One Session The wearer configures Glint once in the Lovense Remote app, picking a sensitivity level and one of three response types: - **Pulse** gives up to three rhythmic pulses per touch-and-hold - **Sustain** vibrates for as long as skin stays on the base - **Crescendo** starts low, builds while contact continues, then resets After that first setup, the phone can go back in the drawer. No one has to reach for a screen mid-moment, which is the whole point. ### Small Enough to Stop Competing for Space At 0.84 inches and just 55 grams, Glint is small enough to work as a first plug. That matters, because the most common objection retailers hear about wearable couple vibrators is that they get in the way during intercourse. Glint is designed not to. During sex, each thrust against the base triggers vibration, so the anal stimulation moves in time with the couple's rhythm. In foreplay, a partner's hand on the base does the same thing. Either partner can wear it. ### Toy Sync Extends the Reach Through Toy Sync, Glint's base can also drive other Lovense devices. If the other partner wears the Edge 2 prostate massager, each thrust or touch changes the vibration in both toys at once. Glint also pairs with Lush 4 and Gush 2 Motion, so a single touch can reach several devices across the ecosystem. In pre-launch testing, users reported that the response during intercourse became automatic and simply followed the movement. For retailers, Lovense positions Glint alongside couple toys and beginner anal toys rather than fill-oriented plugs. The consumer messaging leads with stimulation synced to a partner's thrust, not raw vibration strength. ### Optional Touch Records Touch Records is off by default. Users can switch it on in the Remote app to see touch frequency and duration after each session. For creators, Glint also works with Lovense's tip-activated streaming tools, just like the rest of the range. ### The Bottom Line Glint isn't trying to win on power specs. It's trying to change how couples think about toys during sex, moving them from something you control to something that responds to you. Whether that rewires habits is the real test, and it's one worth watching in 2026.
