Lovense's Glint Responds to Your Touch, Not an App

Lovense's Glint is a touch-responsive butt plug for couples that syncs vibration with your movements, no remote needed. Here's how it works and why it matters.

Lovense just announced Glint, a butt plug that responds to touch instead of a remote. It's designed for couples to wear during sex, and it might change how you think about toys in the bedroom. ### What Makes Glint Different Most wearable couple toys still rely on a phone app or remote control. Glint flips that. A sensor in the base reads skin contact—how much, at what angle, for how long—and adjusts vibration across five intensity levels. A fingertip gets a subtle response; a palm or a partner's thrust gets a stronger one. It's intuitive, almost like the toy is reading the room. > "For years, we've been thinking about one question: What should a toy for couples to use during sex look like, and what should it do?" said Dan Liu, CEO of Lovense. "We're confident Glint is a distinctive answer." ### How It Works in the Moment The plug is worn anally, with the base staying outside the body. During intercourse, each thrust against the base triggers vibration, so the anal stimulation syncs with your rhythm. In foreplay, a partner's hand on the base does the same. Either partner can wear it. Setup happens once in the Lovense Remote app. You choose a sensitivity level and one of three response types: - **Pulse:** Up to three rhythmic pulses per touch-and-hold. - **Sustain:** Vibrates as long as skin stays on the base. - **Crescendo:** Starts low, builds while contact continues, then resets. After that, the phone can go back in the drawer. No fumbling for controls mid-moment. ### Small Size, Big Possibilities At just 0.84 inches (21.5 mm) and 55 grams, Glint is small enough for a first plug and won't compete for space during intercourse. That's a common concern with wearable couple vibrators, and Lovense seems to have addressed it head-on. ### Toy Sync and Partner Play Through Toy Sync, Glint's base can also drive other Lovense devices. If your partner wears the Edge 2 prostate massager, each thrust or touch changes the vibration in both toys at once. Glint also pairs with Lush 4 and Gush 2 Motion. One touch can reach several devices across the ecosystem. In pre-launch testing, the response during intercourse became automatic—it simply followed the movement. For retailers, Glint belongs on the shelf with couple toys and beginner anal toys, not fill-oriented plugs. Lovense's messaging leads with anal stimulation synced to a partner's thrust, not vibration strength. ### Optional Touch Records Touch Records is off by default. Users can switch it on in the app to see touch frequency and duration after each session. For creators, Glint works with Lovense's tip-activated streaming tools like the rest of the range. ### The Bottom Line Glint isn't about more power or more features—it's about making the toy feel like a natural extension of your movement. For couples curious about anal play or looking to add a new dimension to intercourse, it's worth watching. Lovense hasn't announced pricing yet, but given their track record, expect a premium but accessible price point.
