You might not think of Colombia when you picture the live cam industry, but new data suggests you should. According to CamTrends' latest weekly Live Cam Data Report, more than one in five live cam models is in Colombia. That's a staggering statistic that demands a closer look. The report tracked the top 10 cam sites every 10 minutes from October 14 to October 20, 2026. Colombia averaged 5,698 live models during that period, accounting for 22.4% of all models online. In other words, if you visited a cam site at any random moment, there was a good chance you'd see a Colombian model. ### Why Colombia? So why is Colombia such a powerhouse? Several factors come into play. For starters, the country has a relatively low cost of living, making it an attractive option for models who want to earn in USD while spending in Colombian pesos. The time zone also aligns well with peak hours in the United States, which is the largest market for adult content. But there's more. Colombia has a growing tech-savvy population and a cultural openness that has allowed the industry to flourish. Plus, the government has shown a willingness to regulate rather than ban, creating a safer environment for workers. > "The numbers speak for themselves. Colombia has become a central hub for live cam modeling, and it's not just a fluke." – Industry analyst That quote from an industry analyst sums it up nicely. It's not just about economics; it's about infrastructure and acceptance. ### What This Means for the Industry For platforms, this concentration means they need to pay attention to Colombian regulations and payment systems. For models, it means more competition but also more community. For viewers, it means a wider variety of content from a country known for its warmth and charisma. Of course, this data is just a snapshot from one week. But if the trend holds, Colombia's influence will only grow. Keep an eye on this space – the live cam industry is more global than ever, and Colombia is leading the charge.
