Platinum Puzzy, a 21-year veteran and BBW trailblazer, is gearing up for a major event in Chicago. She sat down with EMMReport to talk about her journey, the upcoming "Battle of the Big Girls" show, and her mission to champion plus-size performers in the adult industry. ### From Phone Lines to Center Stage Platinum Puzzy's career started by accident. She was in a financial pinch and took a phone-line gig, not knowing it would change everything. "This business did a lot for me," she says. "It taught me how to be a business person. It built my confidence because I never knew there were people who desired people like me." That simple side hustle turned into a full-blown career that, as she puts it, saved her. ### The Battle of the Big Girls Event This Friday, May 8, Platinum Puzzy will co-host and judge "Battle of the Big Girls" at Loft 3940 inside the World-Famous Admiral Theatre in Chicago. She's teaming up with industry legend Sara Jay. Platinum Puzzy pitched the idea directly to the Admiral team. "I said, 'We need to do a BBW event at the Admiral. I would love to host it.' And they were on board," she recalls. The event is designed to celebrate more than just dancing. Platinum Puzzy explains: "I wanted anyone—whether you're a housewife who wants to get on stage, or a shy plus-sized person with a bright personality—to be recognized for other things besides just being a dancer." It's about curves, confidence, and giving everyone a moment in the spotlight. ### Looking Ahead: Exxxotica Minneapolis Platinum Puzzy is also preparing to host and perform at Exxxotica Minneapolis from June 26-28 during Pride weekend. She's been part of the Exxxotica family since 2008. She first got involved after noticing a serious lack of plus-size representation. Since then, she's helped change that, including hosting the popular Curvy BBW Fashion Show. ### Building a BBW Community A proud Chicago favorite, Platinum Puzzy keeps coming back for Next Level Plus bashes and multiple Exxxotica shows. She calls the city's energy unmatched. She also hosts the interactive Exxxotica.TV show "Boob Tube" every Wednesday and runs iHeartBBW, a platform that creates real spotlight moments where BBW performers are the main attraction. ### Why This Matters Platinum Puzzy's work is about more than events.
