The adult entertainment industry runs on recognition. Not just the flashy kind, but the career-defining kind that opens doors, builds credibility, and tells the world you've made it. And the biggest stage for that recognition? The XBIZ Exec Awards. ### The Pre-Nomination Window Is Officially Open Here's what you need to know: the pre-nomination period for the 2027 XBIZ Exec Awards kicked off on Wednesday and runs through October 14. That gives you a solid window to get your name, or someone else's, into the conversation. XBIZ calls these awards the adult industry's preeminent career honors. That's not just marketing speak. These awards spotlight the executives, entrepreneurs, and behind-the-scenes power players who actually move the needle in this business. ### Why This Matters More Than You Think If you're a professional in this space, you already know that visibility is currency. A nomination, let alone a win, can: - Boost your professional reputation across the industry - Open doors to new partnerships and collaborations - Signal to peers and competitors that you're operating at the highest level - Create momentum for whatever you're building next The pre-nomination phase is your chance to plant a flag early. It's not just about winning. It's about being part of the conversation from the start. ### What Happens After October 14? Once the pre-nomination window closes, the process moves into the next phase. Nominees get narrowed down, finalists get announced, and eventually, the industry gathers to celebrate the best of the best. But here's the thing: none of that happens if people don't step up during this window. The awards only work when the community participates. So if you've been sitting on the fence, now's the time to act. ### The Bigger Picture The adult industry is constantly evolving. New platforms, new technologies, new business models. The executives who thrive are the ones who adapt, innovate, and lead. The XBIZ Exec Awards exist to shine a light on those people. So whether you're nominating yourself, a colleague, or someone you admire, the message is simple: don't wait. The window is open, but it won't stay that way forever. October 14 will be here before you know it.
