Adult Entertainers' Clever Trick to Get You to Check Your Voter Registration

What if checking your voter registration could also get you a laugh? That's the idea behind a new campaign from Hot2Vote.org, a nonpartisan group powered by over 100 adult entertainers, creators, and advocates. They've just launched a "Porn Name Generator" as a reward for anyone who checks their voting status. It's a playful twist on a serious issue: making sure Americans are registered to vote in November. ### Why This Campaign Matters Voter registration is no joke. In recent years, states have purged millions of voters from the rolls, and 2026 is no exception. Deadlines vary, but some states require you to register at least 30 days before Election Day. If you wait until the last minute, you might find out too late that you're not eligible to vote. That's why Hot2Vote is using humor to grab attention and get people to act. ### How the Porn Name Generator Works The concept is simple: check your voter registration status, and you'll get your official "porn name." It's a fun incentive that taps into the adult entertainment industry's playful spirit. The campaign kicked off with a $100,000 effort in Atlanta, using pin-up-style posters, geofenced ads around nightclubs, digital ads, and QR codes. They expect to reach 400,000 to 500,000 people in the Atlanta area alone, mostly men who might tune out traditional political messaging. ### EXXXOTICA Joins as Launch Partner EXXXOTICA, the nation's largest adult expo, is the launch partner for the generator. They'll spread the word through their newsletter, social media, and live events, which have a combined following of over three million. "Our community knows how to have fun, and how to show up when something matters," said J. Handy, Founder and CEO of EXXXOTICA. "This campaign gives our audience an extra reason to take a few minutes to check their voter registration." ### A Serious Message with a Wink Savannah Sly, a producer of Hot2Vote, explained the urgency: "In many states, you can't wait until the week before the election to discover there's a problem with your registration. We wanted to create something people might actually stop, click on, laugh about, and share. If getting your porn name also gets you to check your voter registration, then the joke has done something useful." ### More Than 100 Adult Entertainers Participating Hot2Vote brings together performers, directors, producers, strippers, independent creators, sex educators, and advocates.
